Dr. Marcin Kruczyk

Marcin Kruczyk is a data scientist and AI manager with over 10 years of consulting experience. He has a track record of successfully delivering projects across a diverse range of industries varying from Banking through Telecommunication and Media ending on Life Science and Healthcare.

Beyond his consulting experience, Marcin holds a PhD in Bioinformatics from Uppsala University, reflecting his academic background and affinity for scientific research. This background has additionally allowed him to apply his AI knowledge to the field of biology and genetics, contributing to advancements in genomic analysis and personalized medicine.

Michał Kramarz

Since October 2019 Head of Google for Startups in Central & Eastern Europe, leading Google Campus in Warsaw. In the internet industry since 2004, joined Google in 2006 as one of the first employees in Poland. Between 2015-2019, Michal led a team helping Polish startups in global expansion. Earlier he was responsible for development of Google’s collaboration with retail, e-commerce, finance and travel industries. Before joining Google, Michal worked for Bankier.pl Group. He graduated from the Technical University of Lodz & Executive MBA from University of Maryland – R.h. Smith School of Business and UC Berkeley Venture Capital Executive program.

Mariusz Kotyś

Mariusz Kotyś has been active in the international business arena for more than 16 years. His career spans multiple industries, including IT, engineering and finance, where he has led transformations in service delivery and management of multi-platform teams. As Director of the AI & Data Competence Center, he combines his experience with the latest trends in AI, innovating solutions and optimizing business processes with modern AI-based solutions. Equally important to him as technology is the development of people. As a mentor and communication coach, he helps leaders build effective teams where technology goes hand in hand with human potential. Creating environments that foster innovation is his passion.

Magda Kotlarczyk

Magda’s professional adventure with digital transformation and tech innovation started in 2011 when she joined Google Poland team in Warsaw. After a decade, in July 2021, she took over Google Poland Country Director role. Prior to Google, Magda spent almost 13 years at Procter & Gamble in Brand Management / Marketing / Holistic Communication Planning in local and regional FMCG roles in Warsaw, London and Geneva.
A graduate of University of Łódź (master in Management and Marketing), University of Warsaw (postgraduate in Consumer Behaviour) and Singularity University (Executive Program).
Board member of International Advertising Association Chapter Poland (IAA Poland) since Sept 2021. In March 2024 Magda joined the Advisory Board of ABLS.

Adrian Foltyn

Data science manager, scientist, composer of classical music. 20+ years of work experience for companies such as Procter & Gamble, Avon, McKinsey & Company, Pro7Sat1, HelloFresh, Ocado Technology and Nestle. As a data scientist and a head of data science teams, he collaborated with companies in the technology, e-commerce, telecommunications, finance and consumer goods industries in Europe, China, Brazil and the United States. He held numerous presentations at industry conferences on business machine learning applications, including events  in Amsterdam, London, Berlin, Stockholm, Nice, Barcelona, ​​Wrocław and Warsaw. The lectures included topics of:

  • generalized additive models (GAMs)
  • the use of machine learning in demand forecasting and marketing attribution
  • collaboration in the process of building ML / AI solutions with external service providers.
  • statistical tips and tricks on coding categorical data.

Recently he defended his PhD in computational musicology, using machine learning methods in neurocognitive science and music theory analysis at the University of Wrocław, Poland. An enthusiast of bridge, basketball and board games.

Natalia Baranowska

Natalia Baranowska is an experienced leader with a diverse background in IT for pharma, telecommunications & healthcare. She holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science and an MBA diploma, reflecting her dedication to both technical expertise and strategic management. She has 18 years of experience in the IT industry, including 12 years leading global IT teams in the healthcare and pharma sectors. Joined Roche in 2018 and since then has held leadership roles in various data-focused units, responsible for solutions in the Data Science, Data Integration, Data Advisory & Insights field.

 

H.E. Benedikt Wechsler, PhD

Served as Diplomatic Advisor to Swiss Presidents and Chief of Staff of the Minister of Foreign Affairs. Branded the “Open and Pop-up Embassy” in Copenhagen. He was the Consul General of Switzerland in San Francisco, pioneering in the Silicon Valley in the field of tech diplomacy. Since July 2021, he is heading the first Division for Digitalisation and is charged with the implementation of the Swiss Digital Foreign Policy Strategy.

Michał Stępień

Michał Stępień has been in UBS in Poland since 2008. Before becoming General Manager of Poland Business Solutions Centers in 2013 and Country Head in 2017, he held positions of COO, IT Service Delivery Head, Legal and Compliance Head and Service Delivery Head. Michal has over 15 years of leadership experience. Prior to joining UBS, he worked in international companies such as Royal AHOLD and DELL. Michal is qualified Attorney in Law.

H.E. Fabrice Filliez

Fabrice Filliez is a career diplomat. Prior to his appointment as Ambassador to the Republic of Poland, he served as Ambassador to the Republic of Singapore and the Sultanate of Brunei from 2018 to 2022. Previously, he served in Berne for five years at the Swiss State Secretariat for International Financial Matters with the title of Ambassador in charge of multilateral tax matters. There, he was responsible for representing Switzerland’s interests in important multilateral tax negotiations, in particular at the Global Forum on Tax Transparency and Exchange of Information. Other positions during his career included appointments at the Swiss Embassy in London, at the Directorate for European Affairs in Berne, at the Swiss Mission to the European Union in Brussels, as well as at the Directorate for Public International Law in Berne, postings where he was actively involved in various Swiss-EU negotiations. Fabrice Filliez graduated from the University of Geneva with a Degree in Law and holds a Master’s Degree in European Law from the University of Brussels, Belgium.

Dariusz Standerski, PhD

PhD in economics, lawyer. Lecturer at the Faculty of Economic Sciences of the University of Warsaw. In the Ministry, he is responsible for artificial intelligence, quantum technologies, EU digital policy, applications, and internet governance. In 2015-2023, chief economist and member of the Management Board of the Kalecki Foundation. In 2019-2023, head of legislation at the Parliamentary Club of Lewica (the Left). Author of over 200 bills, including in the field of economic and social matters. Co-author of the study “Digital State. Strategy for Poland”, in which he discusses the state of development of digital technologies in Poland, the European Union and internationally, as well as specific tasks and goals facing Poland in the digital area. Member of the Poznań branch of the Polish Economic Society. Member of the National Board of the Nowa Lewica party. Born in Rożnowo in the Greater Poland voivodeship.
